Jimmy approaches counseling from a systemic perspective and is passionate about helping children, teens and adults come to a better understanding of their own situation. Jimmy is extremely skilled in working with complex family systems, encouraging parents, and empowering families toward success. Jimmy also enjoys leading the amazing, dedicated staff of clinicians and interns at Family Hope House. His passion is to assist and lead others in becoming their full potential.

Jimmy wants others to know that there are so many amazing things Family Hope House does for the consumer and the people, but one thing he particularly loves is that FHH never settles for complacency. There is always a desire to do better, to be better, and to equip others in a more effective way and there is flexibility in the approaches and ideas to achieve that.

The mission of the organization to provide quality therapy, education, and advocacy to the community is what Jimmy most enjoys about Family Hope House. He says the staff is well-trained and eager to learn more on how to provide excellent service for FHH families. The efforts of FHH are unique and genuine, they are a great team that works hard to help others and one another. There is a hunger to heal and help without ego or competition.

Jimmy is also an adjunct professor at Southern Nazarene University teaching in both the Graduate and Undergraduate programs.  Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family, loves being a "Papa" and loves his lovable Labradoodle Brady. He enjoys watching all his Boston sports teams, loves good coffee, Mexican food, and claims to be a gummy bear connoisseur.
