Caregiver Support Groups

It is common for those parenting children with traumatic backgrounds to feel lonely and isolated in their parenting journey.

In partnership with Legacy Family Network, our support groups create a safe place for foster, adoptive, and guardianship families to build connections and relationships with other parents who are navigating similar experiences.

Each support group is facilitated by a licensed and adoption competent mental health professional. Meals and childcare are also provided.

Specifics about joining this amazing group of families can be found here: https://www.legacyfamilynetwork.org/events

Testimonial

Family Hope House has brought such a sense of hope and support. Every time we attended, we walked away with often more than one nugget of truth we felt like we could start applying right away to the often complicated situation caring for trauma kids is. Not only that, but we felt seen and heard by them, and often left with a renewed strength to carry on, a needed reminder to be connected in our parenting, and a confidence that we were truly making a difference. They were an answer to prayer.
