TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.
TBRI is comprised of three essential elements: empowerment, connection and correction. This three hour workshop builds upon the previous trainings and focuses exclusively on the empowering principles. The goal of TBRI empowering principles is to prepare “bodies and brains” for success by meeting physical needs and to prepare an environment that meets the physical needs of children and youth.
We encourage you to also consider signing up for each other workshop in the series for a complete TBRI for Caregivers training.
Cost includes: Participation, workbook, and certificate* of participation.
Presenter: Leslie Keenan, LMFT & RPT-S, TBRI Practitioner
