Secure Kids is a group therapy for children ages 7-11 who are adopted or in a foster or kinship placement.
In these groups, kids will find a safe and supportive place to make connections and experience a sense of community, all while having fun! These play-based groups are designed to help children improve their overall well-being by developing self-regulation, emotional literacy and social skills.
Secure Kids is in an 8-week, in-person group therapy format.
Dates/Times: Each Wednesday from 10/06/21-11/24/21 from 4:15-5:15pm
Cost: Most insurance plans offer group benefits. If yours doesn’t, sliding scale is available.

Both Leslie and Jimmy are adoption competent mental health professionals and highly trained in evidence-based models to address clinical needs of children in the adoption/kinship network. They have specially curated the curriculum for Secure Kids building off models such as Theraplay, Trust Based Relational Intervention, Circle of Security and group play therapy.
