This fall our clinical staff and counselors in training are reading Internal Family Systems Therapy with Children by Lisa Spiegel.

IFS is helpful for adoptees because it acknowledges their complex identity, heals attachment-related wounds, resolves internal conflicts, and promotes family integration and communication. We are exploring play applications of IFS because…well…play makes everything better! (And improves effectiveness of treatment!)
