Virtual Circle of Security

Rather than focusing on behaviors, COS is different from many other approaches because it focuses on children’s needs and the caregiver’s state of mind. Rather than prescribing a set of skills to use with children, COS explores the attachment needs of a child, how these needs are expressed and how parents feel, think, and interact with their children while in this attachment circle. It provides space and community to both learn about the attachment cycle as well as reflect on their own experiences (both present and past) that impact their parenting. Circle of Security is evidence-based and internationally acclaimed.

Circle of Security is an 8-week course with the material building on the knowledge and self-discovery from the previous weeks. Attendance is crucial. If you need to miss more than one week, we recommend opting for a different start time that allows for more consistent attendance.
