TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.

TBRI is comprised of three essential elements: empowerment, connection and correction. This three hour workshop builds upon the previous, overview training and focuses exclusively on the connecting principles. The goal of TBRI connecting principles is to build trusting relationships that help children and youth feel valued, cared for, safe and connected. Disarming fear and building trust greatly increases the capacity for connection, growth and learning.

We encourage you to also consider signing up for each other workshop in the series for a complete TBRI for Caregivers training.

Cost includes: Participation, workbook, and certificate* of participation.

Presenter: Leslie Keenan, LMFT & RPT-S, TBRI Practitioner

*Participation may count for continuing education for foster parents in Oklahoma.
